In early October, our Managing Director, Karen Chang, was honoured as a finalist for the 2021 Burnaby Business Excellence Award in the category of Businessperson of the Year. This award category was for a local businessperson who, through their personal vision, expertise, dedication and performance, is an outstanding role model for business development and excellence.
On November 3rd, we attended the 22nd annual award ceremony, in-person, at the Delta Hotel, Burnaby, along with 250 other business leaders, community members and local government representatives. Although Karen did not win we are extremely proud of her nomination and achievements! Congratulations, Karen, on this well-deserved and hard-earned recognition!
The annual awards program, presented jointly by the City of Burnaby and the Burnaby Board of Trade, recognizes leading businesses and not-for-profit organizations in Burnaby for their success, innovation, community involvement, and environmental sustainability.
