Umbrella Consulting is a small but fast growing ERP consulting company that provides professional consulting services such as ERP design, configuration, implementation, business process review, project management, BI reporting, customization and integrations. Umbrella Consulting is a SYSPRO partner and specializes in SYSPRO ERP.

We are a highly motivated team driven by customer satisfaction, professionalism, efficiency and an honest approach that has generated many loyal clients. Our team works remotely but cohesively on our various ERP projects.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Monitor support tickets through the SpiceWorks ticketing system

  • Create and manage SYSPRO support tickets

  • Work with clients remotely using Teams or Zoom to resolve tickets quickly and efficiently and to the client’s satisfaction

  • Work with the consulting services team to resolve tickets

  • Help the consulting service team with consulting services work such as data imports, SQL queries, Crystal forms design, hotfix installation, etc.

  • Help with SYSPRO client and Crystal Reports installations

  • Log queries, errors and enhancement requests to SYSPRO

  • Prioritize tickets according to supports plans, severity and time-zone of customer

  • Help with creation of user manuals and documentation


Skills and Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent training/ experience

  • 2+ years of supporting or working experience with ERP systems

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, time management, and organization skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Positive attitude, team oriented, quick learner

  • Strong communication skills to communicate with clients to help resolve SYSPRO support issues

  • ERP knowledge and experience (SYSPRO experience is an asset

  • Experience with MS Teams and SharePoint

  • Knowledge of SQL and database structure

  • Ability to connect user needs to potential IT solutions

  • Desire for continuous learning

  • Ability to build trust remotely as well as in-person

  • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic work environment and has a demonstrated attitude of customer service, accountability, integrity and teamwork

All team members work remotely from home and we will sometimes meet in person in the Greater Vancouver area for team meetings and events. We will provide consulting services on-site as required by clients and follow the client's COVID-19 protocols.
